Gentlemen,

New from Orion Models are the fuselage reinforcement plates found on the F-16C Block 40. These plates are laser cut into self adhesive medium weight vinyl and are available now.

The sets are as follows:
  • OMV72001 $4.00 for the Hasegawa and Revell of Germany kits
  • OMV48001 $6.00 for the Hasegawa and Academy kits
  • OMV32001A $8.00 for the Academy kit
  • OMV32001T $8.00 for the Tamiya kit
Each set includes all ten plates found on the Block 40 airframes, as well as two additional "lawn mower blade" plates (found near the base of the vertical tail) to do a Block 30 airframe.

To order, or for more information, send email to: OrionModels@aol.com

Thank you,

Dave Roof

Hi Dave
Nice to see someone taking up the small modeling details that most people miss. Could you post some pics here or on your website?
FYI, the straps are part of the Falcon Up structural mod - on the Block 40, it's called ECP (Engineering Change Proposal) 1966, while on the A/Bs it's termed ECP 4087/4088 (yup - it's now applicable to all pre-Block 50 airplanes). The straps themselves have LM part numbers in the 16B5909-XX range. Now you can put this info on your instruction sheet!
Cheers
