So I was reading this in Lou Drendel's "Viper".....
Quote:
November 1991-Morocco and the U.S. Government signed an agreement for Morocco's purchase of twenty F-16A/B's to be taken from USAF inventory. Morocco thus became the 18th country to fly the F-16.
This was twelve years ago. Did this ever come to fruition? I can't ever recall seeing any pics of a Moroccan F-16, or read anything mentioning it as an F-16 operator. |

I thought so. I had just never read that before. It would have been interesting to see what those Vipers would have looked like. Hmmm.....photoshop maybe? |

| Well, it seems like Morocco might get F-16s after all: Morocco likely to choose F-16 over Rafale |

| It mentions "used" vipers, A/B models, wonder what block will be available for Morocco. 36 Aircraft for less than 2 bln USD!!! (suppose includes spares, maintenance, training, etc.) Good Deal mates. |

| I read that Morroco was trying to get rafales... I don't know if that will happens; if it does it will not take both airplanes. |
