Obvisouly, you can't say the F-16. I'm talking just about other airplanes that catch your fancy. For me:

f-5.jpg
 Description:
The quintessential fighter. If you had never seen a fighter before, or never seen an F-16, were asked to think of what one would look like, this is likely what you would describe.

JAS 39 GRIPEN.jpg
 Description:
Hands down the sexiest of the new fighters. The F-22 doesn't hold a candle to this baby in aesthetics. I've recently become quite a fan of this bird, just sleek as evAr!.

Sorry, I have to disagree with you mate Smile. The JAS-39 is very neat and sexy, but my fav. one is this lady.

Well, I would pick the JASDF F-2, but seeing that it is considered an F-16, I guess it wouldn't count. So, I'll say that the prettiest non-Viper aircraft would have to be the F-104. It was one of the sleekest fighters ever built, after all, it was once known as: "The missile with a man in it".

But as far as new generation aircraft are concered, I'll choose the Su-47. By far, it's the only Russian-made fighter I'm a fan of. Although I picked the Su-47 and the F-104, I do think the Gripen, Raptor, and the Typhoon are also sweet looking aircraft. Cool

You've just gotta love that design.

I think the prettiest fighter is the F-14 Tomcat... (after the F-16 though)

Going way back... the prettiest plane is the Messerchmit BF-109 E

Well, going waaaaay back, of course there is the Spitfire (Mk IX is my favorite).... then the F-86, and nowadays I'd have to say the Rafelle or Eurofighter, both of those look great too.

An eastern beauty: I love the MiG-29. Nice and curvy, like a sexy lady. On the western side of things, it's all about the Thud. F-100 being a close 2nd.

2nd question of the night, you call an aircraft with all these things hangoing out in the airstream pretty... Confused

If you ever have an oppurtunity to get a briefing on this aircraft and go up and spend some time with her, you will come to understand how truly un-pretty she is. Twisted Evil
