A lot of pilots dismiss UCAV's saying that nobody will ever accept a robot airplane. Just remember that in 1865 nobody would have gotten on a train that didn't have an engineer - but people do it all the time today. Also - in 1800 sailmakers thought they had careers that would last forever and they would have a job for life. Steam power did most of them in.
IMHO UAV's and UCAV's are the future of the USAF and if you want to fly inside the jet it will have to be a transport. |
