Acquisition of the APG-68(V)9 radar upgrade kits beyond those required for development integration testing is not currently planned.

Does this mean that they will keep the radars (APG-68(V)5,APG-68(V)7),that are using now?

Same article says, V9s are in the upgrade pack. However, I couldn't exactly understand what the sentence you quoted means nearhos. Though, the program without a radar upgrade wouldn't mean much, when you consider the capabilities added to V9s over V5/7s, especially the extended detection range (and if you consider, TuAF has not received the AEW B737s yet). OTOH, most articles I've read on the subject say V9s are included.

What about the APG-68(V)10 recently reported in this site to be part of USAF F-16 upgrade program? Will it be sold to HAF/TuAF?

Article 'Radar upgrade for U.S. Air Force F-16s' says USAF granted a three year contract to develop V10. By that time TuAF upgrade configuration will be complete. Also if you consider the delays in the development project of V10 and further a/c test, it'll take time. When the upgrade program is complete around '11 or '12, I dont think TuAF will spend more to install V10, as there will a few years for the 35s to come, if Im not wrong around '15. I dont know about HAF, really; you've got the news about that. But that can be the same for you, too. Though I dont know yet which type a/c you guys will choose, typoon, rafale, 35, su, saab.....?

Thanks for the information. The recent order of HAF 30+10 block 52+, for which the contract will be signed in the upcoming months, will be delivered by 2009 which, as you say, is not enough time for (V)10 development to be completed. This is what I was referring to in my last post.

I don't know what the new HAF fighter will be, but it is definitely not going to be F-16.
