I just saw that I passed "veteran" within a month of becoming an active member here, with an average of 8.5 posts per day. Is this some kind of record, and is there any award available, like the official 'this guy spends way too much time in front of a computer and needs to get a friggin life' nomination? That is just crazy.

Well, much to everyones joy (I'm sure), in 39 more days I'll be out of Korea, back in the states, actually having a life, a real job.....and I likely won't be seen in these parts too often anymore, at least not daily like I am now... can't wait!!!!!

Believe me - you'll look back on it with fond memories and in no time you'll be saying, "Well when I was in Korea we......."

I'm not into the drinking every night and getting trashed every weekend like alot of people seem to do (at least I don't do that here, people just get way too stupid). I know what you mean about all the negatives - but you'll still look back fondly. Trust me. You will remember the bad stuff but you'll also look back with a sense of accomplishment. Just remember I said this 10 years from now when you're a Pro Super and you start telling war stories from when you were in the ROK to the A1C's in the breakroom.

hehehe by the time I make pro super I'll have been back here again, I'm sure Smile

Just remember, as soon as you say, "I remember when..." you become one of the old-timers.

uh oh, already done that....after only 5 years in.....now I feel so old!
