| I just saw that I passed "veteran" within a month of becoming an active member here, with an average of 8.5 posts per day. Is this some kind of record, and is there any award available, like the official 'this guy spends way too much time in front of a computer and needs to get a friggin life' nomination? That is just crazy. |

Hahaha where I come from, admitting to spending too much time on you computer makes you are nerd lol. Or a box-denter/box-chief. And its not the sort of thing one would want to admit to lol. And, unofficially, if I could nominate you for that I would. So what do you want to be? A box-chief or a box-denter? :p |

Box-Chief then? Lol and it depends on whether we really want to get into other classifications of Box-Chief. |

People at that level certainly get paid better than the people at my level |

riiiiight. Well, much to everyones joy (I'm sure), in 39 more days I'll be out of Korea, back in the states, actually having a life, a real job.....and I likely won't be seen in these parts too often anymore, at least not daily like I am now... can't wait!!!!! |

| Believe me - you'll look back on it with fond memories and in no time you'll be saying, "Well when I was in Korea we......." |

....sat in my room, played on the computer, and rode my bike a little bit. No, I genuinly don't like it here. I know a lot of people do. I'm not into the drinking every night and getting trashed every weekend like alot of people seem to do (at least I don't do that here, people just get way too stupid). Also, not being able to go anywhere without paying for a bus or taxi, not having my wife around, etc just sucks. If I (as an NCO) was allowed to have my car (like the 22 year-old butter bars :-S )and could get out easier and do stuff, I probably wouldn't mind it so bad. Or, if this were a combat zone (i.e. Iraq) and there was seriously legit reason to be so restricted, then it would be easy to swallow too. I know Korea is just one of those things that comes with the military, so I deal with it. Just like the old line "you don't have to like it; but you've still got to do it", so I'll do my time, bust my a$$ and do the best job I can while I'm here, and throw one HELL of a party when I leave |

| I know what you mean about all the negatives - but you'll still look back fondly. Trust me. You will remember the bad stuff but you'll also look back with a sense of accomplishment. Just remember I said this 10 years from now when you're a Pro Super and you start telling war stories from when you were in the ROK to the A1C's in the breakroom. |
