I'd be surprised if they've even thought about it given the shakey nature of the JSF program. Who knows though =/

My guess is a unit co-located with an active duty unit or a ANG unit with it's own base. Following the F-22 theory, they won't put it on a joint use base because of security concerns.

I think the smart money is waiting for the BRAC list to come out friday before making an educated guess.

Thanks Cajun, funny story behind it. Some buddies of mine and I were sailing down in the keys about a year ago, and we say a boat with a fat chick in a bikini on a Catalina 25 drinking a Tecate... I said, man life is too short for that, and a buddy said, "what, ugly sailboats fat women or bad beer?" and hence it started. But back on topic...

I just realized something fellas, we might start seeing all guard units just being the 3rd squadron at AD fighter wings (kinda like richmond is rumored to happed with langely)... especially if they dont want to put the 22 and 35 at joint use airfields...
