| The silhouette doesn't look like an F-16, but I wanted to ask anyways. |

No problemo! JR's been around the site for a while, but he hasn't talked about his day job in a while . |

| JR007, I looked for you on Friday, my kids in tow. The Owner (older skinny fellow with a funny hat) said you were off grabbing a bite to eat. If you want some shots of the jet in flight and a MPEG shoot me an email and I will send them. I am sure you met my boss EZ. He was loving and hating it on Friday. |

From the website at http://www.starfighters.net:
Quote:
Rick "Comrade" Svetkoff - Pilot
Rick's career in aviation began in 1971 flying aircharter, corporate and commuter flights. 1978 found him opening new doors and flying A-4s, carrier based attack fighters, for the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy in 1984, Rick joined Continental Airlines where he is now a captain of the 757/767. Rick adds to his 26 year, 20,000 hour flying career with his participation in the air show industry. For the past five years, he has been a part of the air show circuit and has cultivated his dream of assembling an F-104 team. Rick is the owner and lead pilot for the Starfighters' F-104 team.
On a more personal note Rick, JR, the late Tom Delashaw, and everyone involved with the Starfighters, are among the very best people I have worked with in aviation and airshows. Check out the schedule, come by and say Hi!. If the Starfighters are not scheduled for your local show, let the directors know that you'd like to see the 'World's Fastest Airshow Team'.
Yes, Rick said that he was doing 610kts into the break at Shaw last Friday.
