| Just curious how far all the weekend warriors drive to their drills? I drive about 225 miles but I know some people who drive as much as 350 miles. |

| I knew a KC-135 com/nav guy that lived in Minneapolis, MN and was a member of the 155th ARW in Lincoln, NE. Since he worked for Northwest Airlines, he could fly for $25 round trip for his drills/duty. I don't know if that was legal but he said his supervisor had no problem with it; he could fly to Lincoln quicker than some could drive 200+ miles. |
