Gotta love the MIG killers! Good Stuff Erik!!! Got anymore? And is that a JSOW in the second pic? Are those operational now or was that just thrown on for the show? |

Yes JSOW. They have been on the Viper for a while. We don't often load them. I am being told they may not be on the UCML any more, goes back and forth because of the limits set on the number of primary and support munitions and certification of the load crews etc.
A crappy shot of the Tbirds, not enough optical zoom on my Sony for this kind of pic. |

| I took a bunch of photos, but too bad just about all of them were from behind the roped off areas. Got most of what I wanted though. |

I did not go on Sat. Did they rope off all the jets? My family and I just used 353 for shade on Friday. I have other shots of my son leaning on the JSOW. I just don't like the huge crowds of airshows but love the planes. The PHYSCO was the F86 driver and the crazy truck drivers in the C17. Everyone knows the Viper can do cool stuff. But that C17 was wild.
I also crawled around inside the B17 the day the got there. The number 3 engine had a worse than usual oil leak from a head and a exhaust manifold that came loose. Did you know the turbo is external on that old beast. It is a really strange design. |

| Did you go during the practice show? My dad was there on Friday because he was disabled/ret vet. My mom went with him, but I couldn't make it becuase I was working on a Po Sc paper that was due on Friday. Didn't get back into town until late Friday night. |
