I've been trying to find the time to formalize this and get it posted both here and on ARC. Things have been just a bit busy around here lately. These are the numbers I copied directly from the airframes on 1 April 2005 and show the configuration of the team for the Davis-Monthan Airshow. Be aware that these numbers are easily changed within the team, and other aircraft can be substituted as necessary. I watched them peel off the number 3 from A/C 303 for the Friday practice session as they flew the diamond with only three aircraft - No, I don't know why.
April 1-2, 2005
T-Bird # A/C Type Serial #
T-Bird 1 F-16C-32H 87-0305
T-Bird 2 F-16C-32J 87-0329
T-Bird 3 F-16C-32H 87-0303
T-Bird 4 F-16C-32J 87-0323
T-Bird 5 F-16C-30H 86-0281
T-Bird 6 F-16C-32J 87-0331
T-Bird 7 F-16C-32J 87-0325
T-Bird 8 F-16D-32C 86-0039
The unusual thing here was the inclusion of a FY 86/Block 30 C Model jet on the team. I'll post photos if time permits, and I'll include a shot of the serial number location for 86-0281. My thanks to T-Bird maintenance team for granting me permission to wander around the jets and take some shots.

Wow, that is great RipVW, can you submit the photos to the uploads in the photo gallery instead of on the forum?
So often photos of the T-birds don't include the serial number.
Cheers,
Jon |

Jon -
Can do - but give me a few days - I just was handed a major proposal that I need to focus on over the next few days. I shot a bunch of details of the Birds to include the serial numbers listed on access panels when and where I could.

| They have no block 30's. Nellis is a PW base only, to have one GE engine is a logistics nightmare. |
