Hey Loader,
this the one you meant ?
The secret weapon has a name actually:
"Secret Weapon": 1Lt Tom "Wheels" Wheeler, Al Dhafra AB, UAE. F-16C (84-1223) which flew 49 missions.

Would have been a funny photo with a load crew with a jammer, and flags and wires on him. Be a good sequence of photos.
How many components in that weapon? Also is that front part with the glasses considered a GBU kit? or is it a "dumb weapon?"
Some people with extra time on their hand need to do another series of photos like that ( with safety and QC watching of course... can't suggest other wise ).
Also if it wasn't bad OPSEC, I would like to see the new TER with three weapons all loaded up. Whatever you do, Do not put that weapon on the wingtips, don't want any more wing flutter or wing tank damage issues. |

The photograph was actually supplied to us by Maj. M. Steadman, together with other photographs illustrating the 363rd TFW's Desert Shield/Storm deployment.
The collection will be available on F-16.net by this weekend

He, he, we did the same at 331 sqd, up at Bodoe.
The weapon guys were talking about practical joke and how hard it was to find a good one
You've got to be joking I said, you do weapons on F-16's... and you've got a guy on your team named Lima... Do I need to say more? They just took off and hijacked him from a shelter and taped him up on station 2. But the pictures didn't turn out good |
