Female here as well. Sorry, no jets on my walls though. It's nice to meet other females that appreciate jets. Do you work on them or do you just like them? Oh, the wierd looks will never end
Armybrat- Good luck at the Academy. I hope you like the snow! I know alot of officers that graduated from there and they were all really great people.Glad to have them as pilots. Can't say that about all O's, but majority are good people. |

| No, but alas the last time I was in a jet I was 4 and being "babysat" by my Dad. there are times where having slightly negligent parents is a good thing hahaha and the last time i saw a skyhawk i burst into tears because I knew it would be the last one I'd see for a very very long time. Anyway that's ever so slightly girly so im gonna move away from that subject. but yeah love the jets absolutely love them. But then doesn't everyone on here love them? lol |

I have a lot of pics, models and books on all types of [Link pending approval] use to think they were walking into a guy's apartment!
If anyone messes with you about it, just remind them, they wouldn't be here if it weren't for females!!
Live your life for yourself!
Take care,

lol VERY WELL SAID but...that argument has the common flaw... What came first the egg or the spoon. Just the same. |

| Haven't jumped yet. That was on my wish list for my 18th [Link pending approval] I turned 18 in February and I live in the "great white north." So that didn't seem like such a good idea!! haha. Hopefully next summer I'll be able to jump at the Academy. |

ArmyBrat, since you're entering the realm of a new branch of service, I will let you in on a little secret that everyone OUTSIDE of PJ, Combat Control, and TAC-P already knows...
The Air Force DOES NOT jump out of perfectly good airplanes!!!
It's ARMY that jumps out of perfectly good AIR FORCE planes!
BTW, don't listen to the PJs, Combat Controllers, and TAC-Ps...They're a bunch of weirdos who like to PRETEND that they're Army, and we just let them think that!
By my clock, you should be reporting for your little week or two of Academy boot camp pretty soon. Best of luck to you, and I hope to see you in 2LT bars in 4 years!
Beers and MiGs were made to be pounded! |

I should've posted on this thread when I first joined F-16.net. Oh well!
For those that don't know, I am 23/F and I am in the Air Force stationed in Mtn. Home, Idaho.
I love anything aviation-related and glad that I can be in a job that is involved with flying(even though I am not aircrew....yet). Will be even happier if I can be aircrew(AWACS/JSTARS).

Sorry, no jets on my walls though
My apartment is a mini aircraft museum. I have almost two bookcases full of scale-model aircraft(these are die-cast and wood models of various scales). I also have dozens of pictures/posters/lithographs of aircraft, lots of books/magazines on military aviation, a huge patch/badge collection, t-shirts...you name it!
Only thing I don't have that I would like to is the model aircraft that you put together and paint. I need to learn to do that. It looks like a lot of fun and from the F-16 model pics from the finished model thread, VERY beautiful![/quote] |
