F-16guy, you seem to forget that in the right hands the Tom Kitten was untouchable. Facts, it bled speed like no tomorrow, but it also could turn nice itty bitty circles due to its extreame lift capability.

Stoli, that sounds awsome, I'd want to eat/drink there!

Stoli, that sounds awsome, II'm not forgetting anything. I can only tell you what I've seen. Granted a week of BFM against the Grape is not going to show me the best pilots, but my response to you Sprstdlyscottsmn, I guess I didn't fight against a grape in the right hands. Sure, I saw a tight turn, but my PGU did touch the untouchable. Also, I was able to keep my speed up and turn tight because nothing turns and keeps speed or accelerates like the Viper. (until now- Raptor and Typhoon). All the Kitty could do was nose over to try and accellerate again which makes it very predictable.
Stoli, give me a couple of years and I'll bring you a bunch of Aggressor stuff for your bar. Okay, not give, it will cost you some booze.

F16guy, true that that the speed retention of the F-16 is par none for the 4th gen! In good hands it WILL smoke the Tom Kitten unless its piloted by the best, so fair assesment on your part based on your personal experiance. Forgive my ignorance, I seek knowlege, what does PGU stand for? Thanks for sharing! Oh and I see that you are relatively new to the boards so WELCOME!

Sprstdlyscottsmn,
I wouldn't say I'm new. I guess I've just finally decided to start typ'n. I've been visiting the boards for 4 years and used to look at the 349 site before it became the quintesential Viper site. I've include a link on PGU. I wish I knew what it stood for but I don't. We've always had M-56 and PGU-28. I'd assume its a Projectile Gun Unit but that makes too much sense and is almost positively incorrect because it was named by the government.

F16 is smaller and more mnoverable. So it is hard to Target it.
Difficult to Trace in mountanious region. Can carry as many AAs as F15.
