I'm searching for pictures of Spangdahlem's F-16Ds. Did they recieve some prior to block 5x ? I need to decal a scale model, have SP decals, but no picture, and don't know where to place AF number / which tailflash / ...

If you can help, I'd appreciate it very much!

There you go!....Wink

Anyway, what model are you working on, Hasegawa? Revell? In what scale, using what decals exactly?

It is the Hasegawa, 1/72. I intended to make it out of the box, in the Luke AFB's scheme. But at the time to put decals, I noticed those were completely screwed up (too old). And I bought the only decal sheet I could get: Astra's SP sheet.

Normally, I can build all SP planes.

Asthis plane is meant to be a gift, and is due soon, I won't be able to repaint it (the leading edge of the horizontal stabs have "inverted" colours) And as I said, I don't have HTS or lantirn to put on it (And don't want that, as I must ship it... Would be too fragile)

Anyway, already thank you for the pictures !

Well, by that, I meant that the decal sheet permits me nearly all SP planes (only restriction, the tailcodes have to be gray, not black.

And, I think that yes, If I had to make an US F-16 for myself, it would be it. Spangdahlem isn't very far away from here... I could be there in 2 hours I think. (Could even have gone there to take pics, but the kit I have is for an older plane, and I doubt they still have some there)

No prob, I'll try to post some / send you some. In fact, it is in the decalling phase. There are some inaccuracies on the paintscheme, as it was intended to be the 1st -D, but due to time constraints, I won't be able to change the scheme. So, it will stay as it is. But I have taken pics throughout the building process. Smile

In the decalling phase eh? Well let us see the pics when you get a chance.

As for myself, I got a 1/72 NF-16D VISTA almost ready for paint. It's kind of a dry run for my 1/48 scale VISTA, which will have all the trimmings. Wink

Nice shot Habu I took this one in Oct of 02. It's not the greatest scan but I wanted to give a shot at loading things on this board.

Working just fine on the loading. Got anything larger? And you can always load it into the gallery, and link the image from there to show up here.
