Thanks for the heads up. We've posted a short article about it.

Looks like it was from a jet the 182 Filo?

That'll buff out. Looks like it came down fairly intact. May be fixable.

The pilot that crashed sustained no injuries in Tuesday’s crash. The aircraft came into contact with an electricity pylon before the accident, authorities said. Deputy Governor Ahmet Gunaydin said the jet’s single engine caught fire during landing and the pilot ejected.

The Pilot Capt. Şefika Burcu Arpacı is one of four women F-16 pilots in Turkish Air Force. She became the first female pilot flew with the F-16 aircraft over the Atlantic Ocean in Canada 'Mapple Flag Exercise participating in 2010. She is also a fighter pilot's wife and mother of 2.5 year old girl.

Great news to hear that Capt. Şefika Burcu Arpacı has survived the crash. Aircraft can always be repaired or replaced however aviators and people are more precious.

Sorry for slightly deviating from the story. But I can see some nose art on #88-0033. Can anyone give better details on that. Need to update the airframes history.
