Good afternoon!
I am very new to this forum; just joined today!
Being a big USAF fan; I am curious to know where are these planes coming from.
I know they are coming from Luke AFB, but which squadron?
62th, 308th, 309th or 310th?? I don`t think they are from the 21st and the 425th squadrons, since they are dedicated for the taiwanese and singaporian air force training.
Thanks for any help!

311FS;
"With the activation of the 54th Fighter Group and its three squadrons--the 311th Fighter Squadron, the 54th Operations Support Squadron and the 54th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron--the future of Holloman is extremely promising. Members of Team Holloman and the people of the Tularosa Basin should definitely be ready for the influx of new personnel and student pilots."

Has the decision been made on the F-35 squadrons? I helped start the 314 TFTS/FS at Luke in 1986. Glad the Warhawks and Sidewinders are coming back!

The first F-35 training squadron in Luke/AZ ist the 61st FS "Top Dogs".
The 61st FS was deactivaded in 2010, being reactivaded in 2013.

309th will send JETS ONLY to HOAFB, 308th will be the next to go. 62nd jets will go to 309th, 62nd will be next F-35 unit at LUKE AFB
So the newly formed 311th FS has four aircraft, all ex 309th and they are:
89-2103 which is marked 54 FG (really the first arrival)
88-0155
89-2053
89-2157
Wonder if they will retain the LF tail code. I think they will, just like the 422nd TES has the OT tail code at Nellis. Would like to see that HO tail code.

Thanks for the Information....very interesting!
You said the 308th will be the next to go; do you mean the squadron will move to Holloman and will (perhaps) be the new 314th or the 308th will send the jets only?
