This video is actually a news report that was shown on Israel's channel 2's news (note the two F-16Is taking off at the beginning  )
It describes the re-opening of the new aggressor squadron of the IDF/AF (well, it's not actually new, it operated during the 60's and 70's but closed). It will operate fighter jets, helicopters and ground forces.
I'm sorry guys it's in Hebrew again, so I'll write here the main Ideas:
- This squadron will operate as a normal squadron with fighter jets and attack helicopters, and will train the pilots of the IDF/AF.
- The pilots of this squadron were chosen especially, and they will fly IDF/AF's fighter planes which will be painted in the enemy's air forces colors (they espicially mention Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia), and its pilots will even talk between themselves in Arabic over the radio.
- The pilots of this squadron will fly and use the same tactics as those countries' air forces do. |
