F-35s arrive at Hill Air Force Base
"DAVIS COUNTY, Utah – It was an exciting day at Hill Air Force Base Friday as officials celebrated the arrival of the state’s first F-35s to come to the base for depot maintenance.

A ceremony celebrated the arrival of the fighter jets, and depot maintenance of the jets have begun at the base. The first jet arrived on Sept. 13 and will undergo post-production modifications at the base.

Historically, Hill Air Force Base has provided maintenance and repairs for various aircraft...."

First mention of upgrade of Block 2A to Block 2B installation and testing in existing flight a/c. :)

I am going to miss this aircraft. We only had our hands on her for a few months before sending her off to get some modifications. I was one of the last people to sit in the seat before it left. Kinda sad now that I think about it.
