As I crew chief, I have wrote some lines that some of you may, I think, enjoy. So, here is it:

May be it's a matter of Love
Or just dedication for life.

Go start two !
Inert and cold metal
Come to life,
Shaking, breathing, stretching herself.

Head and hands against her,
I can feel raw power.

My mind is racing
Probably got the best job in the world.
Around such a machine
Deadly and amazing.

To make this airplane fly and fight
And her pilot, prevail in combat.

So is my duty
I must learn her
To know her inside out.

To understand her signs,
her mutterings.
From hydraulic to weapons,
And, may we never need it,
her crew escape system.

So I can be able to her pilot
"Have a good and safe flight"
Good 'cause I know
that, with him, she will be the best.
Safe 'cause I know
that I didn't let any doubt in my tasks.

When they leave me,
I salute an officer
who trust me.
I caress her from my fingertips,
Silenciously telling her
"Come back to me"
In the deafening screaming
of a jet engine.

Finally watching her,
soaring and leaving,
far away in the vastness of a deep blue sky.
