This and last year Thailand received 16 second-hand F-16's in the ADF version from the USAF to form a third F-16 squadron.

Does anyone have more information about which aircraft were transferred from the USAF to the RTAF. Up to now, we are only aware of 5 airframes (80-0575 (A), 81-0668 (A), 81-0765 (A), 81-0774 (A) and 82-0132 (B)) being transferred.
If somebody has some pictures of these aircraft, that would be very welcome too.

| I just received my AFM special yesterday but haven't had a chance to review it thoroughly. I did see it listed a lot of serial numbers in the back. Is there anything in this new issue about the Thai birds? |

I was surprised, I ordered my copy directly from Key and it arrived here in just over a week. Beat and bent all to h3ll though... I see it on newsstands now, I may pick up a second "fresh" copy. |

Bjorn -
I shot six Thai F-16 ADFs at DM last summer. Photos are attached below.
Same response as the T-Bird F-16s. I have the numbers, but they are home in my slide logs. I'll look them up and get back to you within a few days. |

Why do want these tail numbers, what do you do with them? I have them all.

| I was the Block 15 Landing Gear Overghaul Manager for this effort, start to finish. He is a great photo of the Roll Out Speech by the Thai Chief of Staff at Hill. Very nice day, effort and program for both governments. |

Hi RipVW and Thomas,
This is great information.
What do we do with these numbers? Well, as you can see in the left navigation column, we have an extensive serials database covering all F-16s ever build. We just keep track of every single airframe.
You both have the numbers. Please feel free to PM them to me. Or you can just send me an e-mail: photos@f-16.net
Of course I'm also interested in pictures of these aircraft. Thai F-16s are very rare birds and there's not a lot of photo material available of them. So RipVW, if you'd like to share your DM pictures, please do. Same address.

Tom,
Thats just fine. Take your time.
If you find anything about the Italian vipers (or maybe from the second batch of Jordanian vipers) that went through the depot, you can also let me know.
Thanks, |
