I've got this running theme to talk about airplanes on the car boards and talk about cars on the airplane boards...
I guess it's becuase I have a passion for both. I'm a pilot first, but a close second is a driver. I'm a huge Subaru and rally fanatic...and I mean old skool, not a new convert becuase of the popularity of the new generation WRX. If you think the WRX is a new car, you're sadly mistaken. I'm a pre-Gran Turismo fan, I was in love with the car by watching it in its natural environment: the stages of the World Rally Championship. So it's no surprise that my daily driver is a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS It's the original body style, the GC8, and doesn't look like the current model at all. It's also a coupe.
This is kind of a dream car thread, and my car is indeed a dream car that I've wanted to own, and now I do.
Anyone else have dream cars? I know you're out there... |

Why not just get an attack chopper then? You get pretty much the same speed as these little monster AND you get to pack quite a punch.
Or if it's too expensive, get an M1-A2. It might be slower, but who's gonna have the nerve to shout at you on the street? Not to mention that none of those guys who get daddy to buy'em fast and expensive cars for their b-days so they can show them off to chicks and pick on those who can't afford them, would go very silent when you'd look at them through the sights of a 120 mm, smooth-bore gun...
P.S. how can I upload a pic on this forum? |

There's no attack helicopter that could outrun an Enzo!
If you wanna post pics, you can either upload them to a host site, then copy the image location on here, by clickinc the 'img' button, pasting the URL, then clicking the '*img' button again. You could also just copy the image location from an image on a website and do the same pasting procedure. Problem with that is that site might not allow external referencing. |

Enzo's slow man....
I mean... it's pretty fast, but it's not fast enough, if you compare to cars that you can buy with money that you need to by an Enzo...
Such as.... 966 with Bi-turbo tune cost around $200,000 to 250,000..
it's way faster than Enzo.... |

| I thought Hummer was civilian version. Military vehicles have so many different nicknames, so it's so hard to figure it out. In this case, best way to deal with this problem is just saying M998! |

| "Hummer" comes from the military acronym for the M998 - HMMWV - High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle - hmmm....er. The civvy version is just called the Hummer - no acronyms. |

You're telling me it's faster than 220mph?
And if it's speed you're so concerned with...NOTHING beats this:
241mph baby!
No other road car has surpassed that yet. And it's not that they haven't tried. However the Bugatti Veyron sure does seem to have the potential. |
