I want to get my hand in to a presently usable good simulator with out changing OS. I'm tired playing hawx 2. It doesn't look real.

I'm looking for a fighter jet Simulator (First time)which can run in my windows 8 64bit edition. Jet must be one of this F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, MiG-29 or higher Su-27 or higher.

I heard good about Falcon [Link pending approval] and Flaming Cliff [Link pending approval] i don't know which one will run in win8 64bit. Is there any thing else that run good in windows 8 64 today. is that true flaming cliff [Link pending approval] is about to release?

If they doesn't work what about running in virtual box? Please help me. My system spec

2x 4gh kingston hyper x
HD4000 built in graphic

Anything that works on XP will work on 32 or 64 bit 7 or 8.

There are various technical reasons why that isn't the case. Graphics driver incompatibility, and using older 32-bit software on a 64bit platform is a problem for some graphics intensive applications.

Aircraft avionics has a large degree of standardization and backward compatibility with legacy systems. PC games do not.

True.
I can't even run my old MS ForceFeedback2 joystick with Windows 7.
I can however run Lock On Flaming Cliffs 2.
Black Shark also runs just fine.

The Flaming Cliffs 3 Beta has been released. Buying the beta will save you $10 compared to buying the full version, but you'll have to live with some bugs and the incomplete missile physics until the full release.

FC3 is at the same level as FC2 (far more realistic than HAWX, but only mid level compared to the best sims). However the developer has announced that super high fidelity versions of the F/A-18, F-15, and Su-27 are in development. Release dates unknown. These will probably be the best representations of these aircraft available to the public.

Also know that if you buy FC3, you need to have LOMAC or installed to before you can install it. This is because of a licensing agreement between ED and Ubisoft. FC3 is also a DCS World module and not standalone, so you need to download DCS World (free) with it.
