Shev, I'll agree that both jets were cool , but I still have my misgivings about MiGs. There are burnthrough issues with the combustion chambers in the Indian Fishbeds and I know that Bill Reesman's first MiG-17F caught fire in flight. JR007 also put up some interesting pics of MiG-29 construction in the Viper vs. Fulcrum thread. I'd just feel better flying a jet like a Starfighter, Talon, F-5, or Skyhawk. |
