| As already mentioned: I can also confirm that the Dutch are still receiving their type conversion and BFM at TUS after going through the T-37/T-38 syllabus at Shepard, TX. At TUS they use 162nd F-16C's closely matching the EPAF MLU. Back in the Netherlands they go through theatre conversion at 306 TFS (former recce squadron). When we worked on a Constellation at Tucson/Marana I saw heaps of Vipers, Eagles and especially Warthogs from DM... |

Hey!
I just graduated the 9th of sept this year at tucson! I'm flying vipers for the RNlaf. The dutch who do their training at Tucson still fly block 15 ( A & B's) with the 195th. I think the 195th is going to fly block25's in the furture but not yet. After Tucson we go back home to Volkel AB for our further training with the 306 squadron flying MLu's.
The attachment is a pic of my very first ever viper solo at TUS |

Yeah, good on you Marv! Maybe I'll see you again some time at Volkel, every now and then I visit 312 Bonzo Sqn (although it's been quite a while...). Greetz from the Aviodrome at EHLE... |

The only way to get around on that flightline (for crew chiefs) in comfort of course!
Cheers! |
