No no no, that's not what I said so pls don't put words in my mouth!
I do accept "m" list, but part of the aircraft ordered and part of them just a plan.
As we know, no one guaranty the plans will turn to be orders.
The Israeli aircraft ORDERED!
I was talking about a case when the plan (or part of it) will not turn to be order, then the Israeli order can step forward.
Now you can go find another silly movie to express yourself
To "m": in order to make it clear I made a table out of your list, correct me pls if I was wrong, thank you.
Well done. The orginal table you will find in the letter of the min. of defence, june 6, 2012
Personanally I would change > 2018: Poduction in 2018: MY-1
May be reading first flight could be probably confusing for some readers?
(I do understand what you mean using this in this context) |

'Delivered/First Flight" means all the existing airplanes - some of them delivered already to Edwards, PAX and Eglin and some made inagural flight but they are still in Fort Worth Texas.
The Dutch MoD June 6 article, no details there about the airplanes

..BTW, Israel ordered 20 aircraft,....
Sorry but Israel has not actually ordered "any" a/c. They may plan too, but at this time no LRIP8 contracts for "any" a/c for any country have been issued.
N00019-12-C-0070 mod #1 published on 28 Aug 12 is to provide for hardware and software for a Preliminary Design Review for an interface design for for the Israeli equipment. It is not for production. As this is contract for design, it has no requirement to define what LRIP is proposed.
LRIP7 is occaisionally modified as with the recent addition of 2 CTOL a/c for Norway. LRIP8 is the next and last LRIP planned at this time before LM begins the regular production contracts MY1,2,3,4.
I will concede one point, strangely this is a contract modification but the initial contract "N00019-12-C-0070" has yet to be released, publicly; who knows what may be contained in the unrelased contract. All a/c in production, to date are identified in all existing LM contracts.
If other contract (with contract number) information is available, please provide a source for verification. |

| There is a difference between a contract between a country and the JPO to buy the F-35 and the contract from the JPO to LM to build the F-35. They are often years apart. |

AFAIK, this was apparently triggered by some LM marketing slides listing potential prospects for the jet.. a sales "wish list". |

I don't see that happening, solely in the interest of preserving the Israeli/Saudi strategic balance that the Pentagon/DoS seems to care so much about. Do you really want a potential Islamofascist state with F-35s? |

Hell, we're already letting a soon-to-be Islamofascist state help build the things. *cough* Turkey *cough* |
