Who can help me with typical A-G loadout of Aviano F-16 during kosovo missions for my Tamiya model.
My intention is
2xAIM-120, 2x AIM 9L, AAQ-13nav pod, AAQ-14 targeting pod, on right TER 2xGBU 12, left TER 1x GBU-31 JDAM, AN-ALQ-131, two foel tanks.
is it possible loadout in 1999 for aviano block 40? also some photos can help me.
thanks a lot |

| Well, in both cases, you would be using a MER instead of a TER. TERs are horrifically draggy. Also, I don't think the Viper can carry a 2000lb-class weapon on stations 3 & 7. |

Yes, they can - however JDAM was not introduced until after Y2K. By then all air action over Kosovo was over. GBU-12 x 2 under both wings will do nicely for that campaign.
GBU-31 was first used in anger during the initial fighting in Afganistan following 9/11-01 - pioneer unit was the 389FS 366FW Block 52 Vipers. |

The F-16 is certified to use the TER-9A and BRU-31/A series suspension equipment. The only time I ever saw a MER near an F-16 was in the original YF-16 propaganda photos.
Stations 3&7 are the standard air-to-ground loadout stations. They are certified to well above 2000 lbs per station. |

| Aviano jets were doing fast FAC work then as well with rocket pods on the TERs. However, one asemtric load you could do is 2 x GBU-12 on one side and an AGM-65 on the other. |
