Parrothead,
As advertised, the Yucca recipe has arrived.
7-12 Lemons, depending on size (9 seems to be close to the right number)
7- 12 Packets Sweet and Low to taste
1 750-ml Bottle of Vodka, your favorite brand
Ice
Put some ice in a 2-gallon jug (clean jug is optional); not full-yet. Cut the lemons in half and squeeze them into the jug, put the lemons in the jug, too. Add about half the Vodka. Add the Sweet and Low (Obviously taste is the key factor here--the last couple of pack seem to really increase the sweetness a lot.) Add the rest of the Vodka, then fill the jug the rest of the way to the top with ice. Put the lid on the jug--firmly, you don't want this stuff to leak on anything. Then wrap the jug with a towel; use some duct tape to secure it so that it stays wrapped, (kinda looks like a little barrel cactus, doesn't it?).
Now comes the tradition and group participation part: Shake the jug CONTINUOUSLY for 20 minutes (tradition). When one shaker gets tired, he passes it to the next shaker, again not stopping, but shaking during the actual handoff (more tradition). At the end of the 20 minutes, stop shaking, but leave the towel wrapped around the jug. Remove the lid, drink DIRECTLY FROM the JUG (you guessed it, more tradition). Pass the jug from participant to participant until the Yucca is gone. Repeat as desired...
Well, there you have it. Enjoy. Let me know how it goes...

My arms are already tired from all the shaking, I'll never be able to hold the jug to get a drink.

Purplehaze, I think that's why that one class bought the paint shaker .
Have fun guys! |

Absolute sacrilege!
The only acceptable way to produce yucca is to have the jub wrapped in a towel (or whatever will hold it) and have two (or more) well-endowed women shake the yucca vigorously back and forth! |

| I've tried to find the legend of JW that used to be on the inside of the label, but have been unsuccessful. The link to the home page on the message board will not open. Does anyone have the legend? |

I can imagine you wouldn't mind a drink after dropping a bomb or something, or after heavy stress. But hey, I'm a civilian, so Im guessing outloud, maybe I shouldn't
Thanks in advance! |

I don't see why they would have to drink to relieve stress or to bond with each other. They could do something constructive like playing sports or anything else. |

| Drinking is just a big fraternal thing going back to the old Mead Halls. Drinking is a big part of college, but we don't go out and get smashed every night. The funny thing is, It's not like they are going out every night and drinking. But, with the typical Type A, competitive personality associated with the Fighter Jock, it's just something they do. |

Because the Crew Chiefs get all the good looking women and they get what's left. |

My first encounter with Weed was when another crew chief and I went to a squadron in Ft. Worth to visit his brother-in-law(we're both viper driver to-be's). We'd never heard of the sh*t, but both in our junior year of college(prime drinking age) started pounding it with the rest of the pilots...along with zambooka and pints of Shiner Bock .
2nd encounter was on a TDY hanging around pilots again on the weekend, started passing around a few bottles of Weed. This was after a good game of 'Edward 40-hands' was played and other beverages were had. Maybe 10-12 of us killed 3 bottles in a short while... fun times. I love TDY's |
