Hey Parrothead, Try punching down a couple caps of Isoprophyl (Rubbing Alcohol). It's about the same feeling dude.

Hey there guys! I found a place here in Vegas that carries Weed !!! Lee's Discount Liquor has a few locations and can be relied on to have Weed in stock and it's CHEAP!!!
I picked up a bottle today for about $15.00 and just tried it for the first time. It's got a nice flavor to it and I didn't think it had too bad of a "kick" either. Good stuff guys - thanks for the tip ! |

I still think it tastes like diesel fuel, then again, so does many other things I've drank...

TC, that sounds like the voice of experience ! I don't know what diesel tases like, but Weed is definitely better tasting than jet fuel (and yes, that is the voice of experience ) ! |

Gotten a face full of diesel fumes, and when it hits your tongue...
Curiously there have been some drinks since then that taste just like it. Makes me wonder what they really put in some of those drinks.
I'd better stick to Mickey Light!

TC, that's understandable ! I'm not really a beer drinker, though. I'll stick to my margaritas, boat drinks, and Weed on the rocks! |

| Yeah, no question it's an "acquired taste." Kinda grows on you, or maybe it just destroys your taste buds after a couple of shots. |

| 308th used to have "Yucca Front" that had to be shook forever. One BCourse bought a paint shaker so they did not have to pass the stuff around. I have no idea what went into it but it sure smelled like the jet could run on it. |

Parrothead,
The Yucca Front is experienced after consuming appropriate amounts of a concoction made up of specific quantites of lemon juice (throw the lemons in after squeezing), vodka, ice, and a little artificial sweetener like SweetnLow. Usually combined in a gallon jar, capped and shaken (not stirred) for a prescribed period of time. Drunk from the mouth of the jar and passed from consumer to consumer.
Tastes like lemonade, hits like a hammer. I'll check my Weapons School (seems like those guys are involved in everything) source and see if I can get the real recipe. |

Titleist, that stuff sounds great ! Could you please include it (and hopefully the recipe ) over in the "Favorite drinks (recipes please)" thread? Something tells me that this stuff might start showing up at pre Buffett concert tailgate parties . Thanks for the info!!! |

Parrothead,
My boys said they'd forward the recipe and directions for the Yucca. There is also considerable tradition behind length of time to shake it, etc. As soon as I get it, I'll put it in the drinks thread. |
