After Taiwan declares its independence from China the Chinese react like they said they would: full scale invasion.
For Brad Johnson and the men of the 67th fighter squadron the war becomes a battle for survival. A battle that not everyone will win.
The title of the book is Operation Dragon Shield and the authors name is Daniel Hutmacher.
If you are interested, the book can be purchased via <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0741422549/threefournineA ">Amazon.com</a>, <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0741422549/f16net-21">Amazon.co.uk</a> or other (online) bookstores.
I would like to hear what everybody thinks about it. |

Hi Daniel,
Just wondering. How come the main character, Brad Johnson, now flies the F-15 Eagle instead of the F-16, as was the case in your previous book 'A Maverick's War'?

I didn't know anyone had read a Maverick's war. What did you think of it?
Anyhow, to answer your question, operation Dragon shield takes place about one year before the events in a Mavericks war.
In case your intrested I'm currently working on the next Brad Johnson book. |

Hi Daniel,
Sorry for the confusion, I haven't read the book yet as I just recently discovered it. I just had that info from the reviews.
Regards,
