We posted part 1 of an F-22 timeline on the Code One website. It should be featured on the home page tomorrow (28 February), but it's been available in the article links for several days now as we've been adding photos.

Part 1 covers 1981 through first flight of first production F-22 on 7 September 1997. Click on the smaller images to get larger versions (about 1200 pixels on longest side).

I figure F-22 forum members here will be interested. Please let me know if we missed anything significant and we can update the page, especially if you have an associated (released) photo. We're also working similar timelines for F-16 and F-35 programs.

F-22 Milestones will be a two-part series in the print version of the magazine.

This is a nice reference about the F-22. I'm going to suggest that this post be placed in the "Sticky" section for future reference. When part 2 becomes available, please let us know.

I guess we're all deserve it and no less important - the Raptor deserve it.

Part 2 is in work and it will be much larger than Part 1 since more information was publicly available. Planned for Vol 27 No. 2 issue.

Finished uploading the initial set of photos. Almost 130 images... Whew.

We will eventually combine parts 1 and 2 once we get an interactive template finished. Stay tuned.

As for other educational resources for F-22, try F-16.net!

We will also launch an F-22 program page on the Code One site by late summer.

I really appreciate you uploading those images. I have a growing collection (about 300 images right now) of F-22 photos and your site will be of great help.

I realize this website is one of the greatest aviation resources available online. Thanks for reminding me of that. I've been reading every thread but I always feel like there is more to learn.

Again I can't tell you how thankful I am for your services and your website, and for fueling the great appreciation I have for the Raptor and for aircraft in general.
