It’s a bird, it’s a plane… well sort of! It’s the 5th Generational Multi-role Functional Fighter Jet. It’s projected to hit peak production around 2014-2016 and we have hundreds of international orders from our allies as well – so this truly is a global program you can get in early on. Our Flight Test Engineering teams have more work than typical during this ramp up to get to the next production phase and meet some exciting goals and deadlines.
With that being said, I am heading up the effort to publicize and direct interested candidates to apply directly, as there are currently 20+ positions at Patuxent River, MD and 30+ at Edwards AFB, CA. The focus as of right now is for cleared or clearable professionals, who have supported and worked in the flight test control room/ telemetry/ missions control room, and have supported fixed wings, big planes, UAVs, UCASs, helicopters, or possibly others. We expect that our needs are going to be increasing up through 2014 (and beyond), and there are three shift options as well if you want to mix it up for your personal schedule/ work/life balance.
