I don't recall the details, but Cools did not die because of a physiological incident.

According to the report, it was A-LOC that caused the crash. This might not fit the pattern of the current F-22 issues, but I still consider it a physiological incident. The official CoD was blunt force trauma from a supersonic ejection.

It looks like a valve in the G-suit is the culprit.. the maladies reported by ground personnel is another matter.

I had spoken with an APG out of Tyndall a few weeks ago, and he, being deliberately vague, suggested the USAF had came upon a fix for the pilot issues. I'm glad to hear he wasn't talking out of his a$$.
