Students learn about the F-35, 33rd Fighter Wing (SLIDESHOW) May 23, 2012 by JUSTIN HEINZE

"EGLIN AFB Dozens of students from Kenwood Elementary School were gathered about the sleek F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, following with their heads each point and gesture of the airmen explaining its capabilities.

Questions came from the young crowd like popcorn kernels snapping: “But why? What’s that for? How come the tip is so pointy?”...

...Col. Andrew Toth, commander of the 33rd Fighter Wing, came to the hangar for pictures and to say a few words to students. Before he left he led them in a chant.

“Nomads!” he yelled.

“Fire from the clouds!” the children chanted back" [What a great bunch] Very Happy

Some 'popcorn colonels' here:
