Could happen, I guess. There would probably be more of a market for an F-22 Fledgling, though.

Nah, how many kids have a runway? How many adults for that matter? Most people need a B model.

The kind that can afford a jet powered joyriding aircraft. In other words, not many -- and those that do will want the one they perceive as "the best", as opposed to the workhorse.
