The F-22 demo seems to have settled into a routine, similar to Major Moga's with a few tweaks. Wonder if the Raptor has othe post stall manuevers up it's sleeve?

The F-22's routine will eventually evolve dependent on the initiative of the new Demo Team CO and if he can convince his boss if new maneuvers or tweaks to the current profile is justified and doesn't reveal anything classified. Whatever new maneuvers or tweaks will eventually have to be reviewed and given the blessings of the commander of ACC.

As for other post-stall maneuvers the F-22 could do...oh yeah. Just about whatever you can think of, it can. But IMO those advanced maneuvers should never be incorporated into the Demo. Luckily they aren't.

We know, because of the Russian TV/post-stall demo's, what AC are capable of, are these classified manuevers just an overall way to keep the rest of the world guessing it's true capabilities?

There are couple manuevers that I have seen on video that I would like to see though.

Cobra:

The other is a banking turn the Raptor rolls out of, I have not been able to find this footage.

In a nutshell, yes. When you see an aircraft maneuvering, a trained eye will be able to "see" other things and extrapolate from them.

When you see the F-22 Demo, they are only showing very "basic" post-stall maneuvers that are well known. They want to show how well the F-22 can do these specific maneuvers (with control and in an un-modified, combat ready line fighter). However, even with those "basic" maneuvers, they are not, for example, max performing them or showing you how they might be used in a real fight. It's just that, a "demo"; to demonstrate one specific maneuver at a time.

That isn't really a "Kobra" maneuver, at least in the popular Russian definition. What that video shows is really an abrupt pull-up then leveling off with negative Gs. The result looks more like a "Z". I believe that was "Dozer" and he was just probably bored and wasting gas waiting his turn before a flyby.

This video shows the F-22 doing a more traditional "Kobra" (starts at about 36 sec. and another at 1:05 sec.).

This was perfomed before the standup of the F-22 Raptor Demo Team so I don't know who did this mini demo.

I was there when Dozer was "wasting gas", what a treat. The extremely high alpha pass/climb was incredible (mark :50). I am on a mission to find the "banked turn roll out", my terminology, not official USAF.

Mind blowing, is when the Raptor reverses the helicopter turn, without TV.

Here's my video from St. George Utah show Mar. 16-17. Not terribly fantastic, but the F-22 is flying against the clouds so you can actually see how slow and tight turning it is (as opposed to filming it against a solid blue sky).

As spectacular as the F-22 demo is we are already getting ho-hum about it, when compared against other TV aircraft. I have to wait until Sept. to see her.
