Rico007, mistad, p0intyhead, jam1219, corral, and SammyZ, I have been reading your posts and they all sound good. I too have been hired by AMMROC and will leave the US in July. Already sent my paperwork to them for final and have been in contact with a guy in Saudi that said it takes exactly 3 weeks for them to finalize the paperwork and then they send tickets, and travel arraingments by email. He told me that he was hired in the "G" grade position. My question to all of you is "what grade position did you get hired as?" I have heard of them as a letter grade. I see from your posts that there is a lot of talk about GS positions. Is that the case? Are there going to be GS positions? I am really interested to learn about all of you. I also look forward to working with all of you. Sounds like we will all be in the melting pot together. Email me if you like... Postaldog2k2@hotmail.com

Rico007, if your offer was for a G position and it equals a GS-9, what does a GS-9 pay scale equate to in the civilian sector?

bountyhunter AMMROC pay scale will not equate to the US FED GS pay scale. AMMROC G position Salaries are in the mid $50K, low $70K range for 5/7 levels respectively. Annual bonus of up to 3 times base monthly salary. The more senior positions are called J and K grade positions, with the K grade being the slightly higher of the two. (CMSgt/SMSgt/MSgt types) K grade positions go for $117,500K and include an accompanied/family package benefits. The $[Link pending approval] is inclusive of the housing and transportation allowances. J grade positions go for $106K, the rest is the same as above. Each Federal job is given a specific rating from one to fifteen depending on the amount of education and experience required for each position. US FED GS-9 Salary Range: $38,824-$50,470 Hourly Rate: $[Link pending approval]$[Link pending approval]

Rico007 Thanks for the information. WHat about the H grade? I know someone hat got hired as a H grade. I am going to ask about them when I get there. As a retired MSgt, I got hired but not in the J or K grade. I mean it is good what I got but if I am supposed to be getting more, than I am going to ask for it. When do you get to Abu Dhabi?

Rico007...when you talk about the pay scale, is it all included or just the salary between $50K-$70K and then monthly allowance for rent and transportation?
