| rs-1477. I spoke to Frank Bruno. He actually works for LM-Lockheed Martin. He's a liaison between AMMROC and LM. He'll still pass on your feedback about your job fair interaction with AMMROC in the USA. I spoke to a retired USAF,SNCO who got a phone call from an AMMROC recruiter in the UAE. He said he couldn't understand half of what the voice message said. |

That's why it's better to go with a DOD Contractor for a job overseas.Â
You have to pay some taxes. But the operation will be better run. Â No out of the blue nonsense.Â
Also the bigger the better. A Boeing over a Dyncorp. |

Well, it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since my interview with AMMROC and still, I have not heard anything. I am thinking that they got so many people applying for the jobs that there just is not enough time to sift through them all. I am still holding on for that slight chance of a contract from them.

Having worked in the Middle East. You will find that this is the normal operation. Imagine the Human Resorces office here. But run by people with marginal english skills. Looking at your cetificates. Picking the best looking ones. And then waiting for the boss to make a decision.
Dont wait for a call. Keep applying for all the jobs. Remember not to change your cell number or email address.
I cant count the number of times I have been callled about an opening. Years after I applied. |

Interesting morning in Afghanistan. I saw that Adam Davies,AMMROC recruitment Specialist, had put a message on Linked In. AMMROC looking for technicians etc... So I asked him if they were looking for F-16 platform technicians as he titles them. He responded immediately. Requested my CV or as we say resume. He has passed it on to AMMROC tech guys as he would say. Sending my CV to Sara Galliott gained NOTHING over a month ago as stated in JS Firm. Will see what happens. In Shalah. |

Very succinctly put. All the world over, they know they got us by the nads. Jobs hard to come by--if you are older, damn hard.
Adam sent me email asking that I fill out forms which my computer will not open. I tried to contact him repeatedly. NO answer. |

| mc5wes. I believe AMMROC is looking for Apache and Blackhawk technicians. I read an article UAE is upgrading Blackhawks to gun ships. I see their Apaches and Blackhawks here in Afghanistan. |

| Yeah, I was looking for some information about working in Afghanistan. The Army has a contract with some company to do dept work on the helicopters in country. Instead of shipping them back to the states. |

| mc5wes. AMMROC wants to accomplish depot level work on UAE military aircraft and hope to gain other regional customers in the process. |

| rs-1477. Linked In has been a great tool for me. I've helped other folks make employment contacts, network with others around the globe in the AMT career field and others have helped me make connections. Glad you found the info for Adam Davies,HR Specialist,AMMROC. |
