Another snippet is about number of LRIPs - 11

It's not a new ICP but adding/swapping ICP cards. Sounds worse than it is.

btw, TR-2 has been in the plan for a long time. It is not a surprise, unexpected, etc. Here is slide from 2008 showing TR-2 as part of the final Blk2 plan.

The main issue that I have with Bill is that he blatantly makes things sound worse then they actually are.

1. TR-2 comes in with LRIP-6 (as part of Bl2b), not LRIP-8 (Blk3i), so add two more years of LRIP that will be part of IOC with just a software update.

2. There has been a plan (and money) in place for years to produce extra TR-2 hardware during production (to save money via economy of scale) so Blk1 through Blk2a LRIP jets will be upgraded to Blk3 enabling them to be part of IOC.

btw, the TR-2 as part of LRIP6 Blk2b (as opposed to LRIP8 Blk3i) info was in the QLR. I thought Bill read that? Wink
