One of my favorite pics shows that the F-35B is not so dangerous as recent reports have claimed "dangerous to personnel within 75 on deck.

Well there is a "trap" video for the plane in the screen shot . . . although it is a "verticle trap" . . . so I guess it is not really a "trap." Just a nice deck landing minus the hard impact associated with most carrier aviation.

Yeah, I was surprised by that too. According to BS they should have looked like Sarah Connor grabbing a chainlink fence.  |

The guy approaching the aircraft in a vertical landing mode should have been blown clear of the deck as well if the 'doom-gloom' reports were true.
Looks like he was catching a breeze in the video, but kept advancing on the aircraft until well after the engine was throttled back.

I was being sarcastic. Going by Bill Sweetman's prognostications I'd have expected the ground crew to burst into flame.
