New to the forum here folks, but I hope you can help us [Link pending approval]
Our Museum ([Link pending approval]) has acquired an F-15 but we have to go to Marrietta, GA and bring it home. What I am looking for is info or manuals for removing the wing,stabs [Link pending approval] I have moved many aircraft so this isn't new but I like to have a "heads up" as far as procedures/tools, etc. before I get to involved with the project. And, I haven't done an [Link pending approval] We have an F-15, F5/T38s, f-84, (moved an F-14 for the navy) just to name a [Link pending approval]

Hope you get the help you need. Can you take photographs of the operation to move and display the aircraft and share it with this site to help us build history of this aircraft.

Quick question [Link pending approval] We are putting together our tool chest and are wondering if anyone can tell us which fasteners are used to hold on the panels covering the wing bolts? what tools are needed to remove those? Are they torques bits? or the "nazi" bits?..

| The wing strake panels are cross tip "nazi" screws. You will need at a minimum #4, #6, #8 and a #10 and even bigger to remove the panels to access the stab actuator bolts. you will also probably need a #8 hex (9/32 I think). I would definitely have spares of all of them, they tend to brake. |

| Thanks guys that is what I [Link pending approval] yep we have lots of #'s 6,8,[Link pending approval] and are in the process of getting some spline sockets from [Link pending approval] One question; Does anyone have the Snap-on part #s? |
