Definition of IRREGARDLESS
nonstandard
: regardless
Usage Discussion of IRREGARDLESS
Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead. |

| People who think the f-35 cannot perform, HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!. Even if half the crap on it doesn't work, a stealthy version of an f-16 with an aesa would not be the answer to our (U.S.) woes? Are you kidding me? God , choke yourself. F-16's ARE NOT SURVIVABLE in a modern iads. The f-35 is going to happen becuase it must. period. Hopefully when we ditch the cargo pilot chief of staff of the Air Force and we get a damn fighter pilot in there, priorities will get set straight. IMHO |

| The rumor at the pole is Santa is buying F35b's to replace his legacy team who can only travel subsonic and handle 'like a cow.' Now wait for the "it's gonna melt our roof" crowd to have a cry. |
