Dear All,
My question is that how many degrees must the airbrakes be extended for final approach, and does it vary further after touchdown, until aircraft comes to complete stop and engine shutdown???? |

| The airbrake, if engaged, should decrease the proper amount when gear are dropped. Keep nose no higher then 10 degrees above horizon at touchdown and you will be fine. |

| Speedbrakes are typically opened to 43 degrees for approach and landing. Once the nose is lowered during landing roll, they are typically opened fully to 60 degrees. They are typically closed when the jet has slowed to taxi speed. |

| at 5000ft AGL, and 10miles out, the flight path marker is a bit above the end of the runway, and AOA is 10degrees. for descent aoa is 7degrees typically as laid out in the falcon 4 user manual, as soon as the aoa goes to 6degrees the bird starts picking up speed, and at touch down my speed is around 210kts, i am talking about a flame out landing. any ideas for a perfect landing? |

- Approach wings level at whatever AGL number you want.
- Once on runway heading, watch for the end of the runway to be ~ 3 degrees below the horizon line in the HUD. Then put the Flight Path Marker (FPM) on the end of the runway.
- Gear down, boards out* and use throttle and stick (mostly throttle) to keep the FPM both at the top of the AOA staple and on the EOR and hold that thru the approach (A good approach speed WAG is 3 knots for every thousand pounds of gas + 143; +147 if you've got stores). Do NOT use Pitch Trim to adjust AOA!! 
- At the flare, throttle idle and a little back stick to put the FPM in the middle of the staple.
- Repeat until ya get it right. 
* The brakes can be overridden to 60 degrees in flight as needed, gear up or down. |

Hi, I live in Cincinnati, OH and I was wondering if there are any fighter jet simulators around me that I would be able to use for a couple of hours for pretty cheap (or ideally free)?
