Just got back from an overnight AFROTC visit to Moody AFB. Just wanted to say thanks to all at the 479th Flying Training Group for showing us around. It was nice to hang out with some fighter pilots, hope I can do it regularly in a couple years.

We were with the 49th, didn't do any flying though, just flightline tours, etc. Major Oakden was our "guide" for the afternoon, said he knew you pretty well. It was a great visit, even spent some time in the lounge!!! I can't wait to get my hands on a T-6/T-38!

Going to Hill (4th FS). Yeah, Sprout and I both flew Blk 50. He's a great dude and he's on his way to Luke pretty soon as well. I really enjoyed being an instructor in the 49th. The T-38 is a much more difficult plane to fly than the F-16. It's agreat wingman trainer!
Glad you had a good time! Too bad you didn't get to fly, we generally have lots of open pits.

Wish we could have gotten some rides, but there wasn't enough time for 40+ cadets to do it. Still in all, it was an awesome trip. Sprout is a cool guy, I think I will see him again this coming weekend, as he is supposed to fly down here in a T-38 for ERAU homecoming. Too bad I missed you up at Moody, maybe I'll catch up with you somewhere on active duty.
