I have a photo of Thunderbird #1 with nose art/decal "Lets Roll". Anyone know the serial number of the Thunderbird that wore the "Lets Roll" decal? I know the aircraft numbers can be easily removed, but the decal would have only been applied to one aircraft.

Thank you,
Jon

1 jet at a time per wing. Or as with the TBirds the lead #1 only. We have one here, the East coast demo Jet and Mig 29 shooter.

Same here at Kunsan, 2013, the Wolf's jet has it along with a new tail flash, they painted a snarling wolf looking at you on the lower aftof the vertical stab. I will have to see if I can get someone with a digital camera to snap a pic and download it so I can post it .

A splashy fin flash on an active duty bird? Is that just on the wing CC's or all of them eventually? Could it be that the active higher-ups are starting to loosen up a little when it comes to letting their subordinates show off a little unit "personality" like the Air Guard has done for years? Cool

I recall at Shawfest 2002 though that every Thunderbird jet had the decal applied.

That is only on the Wing CC's jet, plus the jet cant leave the penisula with it since it hasnt been approve officially . It is done in dark gray so it isnt overly flashy but it does look nice when you see it .
