Heh heh heh!
here we go again!!!
Answer is: BIG ONES!!!! We especially liked the 'dial-a-nuke' feature, where we could crank up the yield if we were in a bad mood that day.
Guess we also oughta say where the things are stored and how to load them, huh?
Oh yeah, most of us planned to 'ripple' two of them, just to make sure.
out,
and have a happy New Year. |

Hey, Gums, don't be so cruel to the poor man. I can answer that official articles give information about B.61 nuclear bomb (http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/systems/b61.htm) but I guess that with Warsaw Treaty fall that weapon lost its importance for F-16.
But I found information about new B61-11 deep penetration variant made in 2001 so I guess the system is back but I'm not sure about F-16. What about the hardpoint I just don't know. |

DerLoos and Don345:
First off...welcome aboard.
Second: Since you're both new here, I'll bring ya both up to speed. If you pose a question like Don did and don't get a straight-forward answer (or any answer at all), don't be offended or disappointed. There are a few dozen board members, maybe more, with intimate, detailed knowledge of the F-16 (you've already met Gums...one of the best!) so when questions are posted about very sensitive aspects of the Viper and it's operation (nukes fall into that catagory, obviously), red flags go up.
Thanks to the openness of the Web, an unclassified link to B61 data was noted. Just remember there are others in our world who would exploit that openness to gain important intel on any number of things, like details on the F-16. And they also know about this board and the caliber of it's members. Those of us here who recognize a sensitive topic when it's brought up revert to our old OPSEC mindset and kindly remind others to just be careful. We as a group would hate to see the bad guys of the world gain the upper hand thanks to even a tiny bit of info they gleaned from probing this board.
Let's be careful out there. |

| Could you please give me a link for the list of sensitive topics banned from discussing here? I'd be very thankful and won't make a mistake next time. |

| Well put Gums! Thanks Link! Now then, Der Loos and Don345, just think about what you're asking before you ask it. Could the answer benefit an adversary? If so and you're still curious, go ahead and ask. Just be prepared for some fun to be had in the non-informational posts! People have asked about how to lock a Viper, what the radar's range is, how to evade radar, and a few questions about the nuclear consent panel. We had a bit of fun finding different ways to decline their requests for information, but we didn't mean to be nasty about it. Have fun, ask away, and please stick around for all the fun we have here! |

Most "sensitive" topics are rather obvious: operational tactics, avionics capabilites, etc - nuclear weapons definitely fit the bill. I can't put it any better than parrothead: if you ask questions about a sensitive issue, board members will let you know that you won't get an answer. And please don't be offended when that happens - just enjoy the jokes, even if they are at your behalf

PS: In case you are wondering about the background of some of our members, I can highly recommend our interview with "Gums" :

| Big ones, small ones and in between ones, all the same yet different, anywhere in about an hour or your money back. |
