Hi, can someone help me to answering this question?
What function has the left position of TMS switch on f-16 stick? TMS, DMS and other switches have only 1 function or they can be used in conbination with other buttons (ex. Pinky+UpDMS=new function)?
Thanks. |

| TARGET Management Switch is the button the pilot uses to designate (or "un" designate) targets. Depending on whether he goes forward or back. It has other functions as well depending on mode and target selection status. DMS is the Display Management Switch and does just that (toggles between preselected displays, etc...). The CMS is the countermeasures switch for, you, you guessed it, countermeasures. |

| Thanks Roscoe but that's not really the answer I was looking for. I'd like to know what function the left TMS switch position has... |

Doesn't TMS-left step thru the TWS target priority from highest to lowest? Sorta like a "target of intent" selector? |

| Well, I've already visited that site and from this site my question is born ...What is the function of left TMS switch position? That site doesn't give any explanation, only RCR(N/I). |

The original files were the same quality unfortunately. If you zoom in on the images, I can read (most of) the text.
