P-51 vs F-22. And before you fly off the handle I'm not asking which will win in combat. I'm asking what you guys would rather fly if you had the chance. Now I may be young. But I'd definitely take the P-51 over the raptor because one the mustang is my most favorite plane and the raptor or even the SU-35 will ever top it on my list. Because I'd it wasn't for the mustang then we would have lost a lot more good men and bombers during the later stages of the war. And two, it's just a pure and amazing aircraft no fly by wire or any other aides. Just pure flight. And don't get me wrong. I love the raptor but to me it doesn't have a reputation that would even be close enough to shadow the P-51. Also if there are any veterans or current raptor or viper drivers on here please feel free to chime in.
