I think we still have at least a few Phantom Phixers on here, and I just wanted to do some research. What was working on the Rhino...umm...like? I'm currently writing a novel that fairly prominently features a scraped-together F-4E squadron operating in very strange circumstances as a nominal part of the Georgia ANG. I want to ensure that I don't make any massive blunders in procedure or anything else. A few questions:
-how many personnel does it take to keep one flying?
-what is the procedure for external (huffer) start and what communications are made?
-how are AIM-7, 20mm ammunition and bombs loaded?
