These pix were referenced from a thread on ARC. The jet is the GE -132 testbed. Someone over there mentioned it's a new version of HAVE GLASS. Don't know if that's the case but it's wicked cool and better looking than the current HG! (both photos by Christopher Ebdon (AV8PIX))

An F-16 with a -132 without all the Block 60 drag has got to be a sweet ride! I wonder how hard it was for the pilots to convince the higher-ups that the paint needed more testing...

It also has clipped UHF antennas. Prolly not new (they're in the gallery pic from 2008) but it's the first I've seem 'em. Part of the mod that gave 'em that shaded area at the front of the fin root?

I wanted to get some more info on the paint scheme as it looks like test squadrons are wearing it too. Edwards and Eglin (OT??) units are also wearing this scheme. Could there be something new being tested for the entire USAF Viper fleet?

That paint would look even cooler with the PW-229's carbon-fiber turkey feathers!

1551 is another one of Varkvets pride and joys ... along with 6050. We got the best block 30's at Edwards!
